Is public school not the best fit for your child? Is private school too expensive? Is the idea of home-school overwhelming? We are here to help.
We believe that parents are ultimately responsible for the education of their children. Unfortunately, parents are often told many different ways to do school that are supposed to be “best for everyone.” It can be difficult to decide what truly is best for their individual child. Our mission is to empower parents with the tools they need to help their children learn how to learn. We want parents and students to take ownership of their own education. They simply need to know how to use the resources available.
There is no such thing as a “typical” child. Every child is unique – every family dynamic is unique. Each student that comes through Texas Freedom Academy partners with an educational expert to create their own individual learning program. This program functions as a roadmap to help them achieve their self-set goals. The ultimate goal is for each student to develop independence and confidence so they and their families have the freedom to dream and follow those dreams.
Our school year runs September (after Labor Day) until mid-May so families are able to spend as much time together as possible. If a family decides to take a vacation (or has a family emergency) during the school year, we work with them to adapt their individual learning program during or after the event. Because each student’s plan is unique to them, we simply pause and pick back up where they left off – with custom education plans for each student, they never “fall behind the class”.
